Community is Happening! Next Online community event - Exploring & Navigating IT job opportunities in Germany

𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝟭: At the in person community event hosted lasted Sunday on Feb 16, in Berlin, one of things I had an opportunity to share with participants is that 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 in one's interviews in 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 here.  
 
One of the attendees responded to that, from his experience of interviewing in #India, if you ask more questions it could be taken negatively and they'd rather not hire you(on a case to case basis). So when I shared the above personal experience of mine with regards to interviewing in #Germany, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗵𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻.  
 
𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝟮: I could witness 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 and that way benefitting from each other all the more that way as a community!  
 
Looking back, I missed having these discussions especially when I was between jobs in Germany in the past. In addition to having an opportunity of sharing through these meetups what has got me so far in Germany over the last 5+ years , I'm 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 & 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝘀 and their questions & thereby it 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘆.

P.S: I've personally experienced interviews in India where asking questions is also welcome & I've personally received some really generous, kind and thorough feedback that way from at least some of my past interviewers in India.
